University students representing member organizations of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) gathered in Istanbul for the Second International Youth Gathering (IYG) visiting important NGOs in Turkey. Second institutional visit was performed at the general headquarters of IHH - Humanitarian Relief Foundation.

We are following with deep regret and concern the tragic events in Urumqi the capital of China’s northwest Xinjiang province where more than 150 people died and over one thousand people injured. We are really concern of cut of communication and the arrest of more than one thousand people.

At the auspices of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World, nineteenth ordinary annual session of the European Fatwa and Research Council started and continued three days in Istanbul with the participation of dozens of scholars and distinguished guests.
